The outdoor skating rink in winter is great fun. On a normal (non-covid) years they have skates and hockey sticks to use. It's all free! Ice conditions vary but it gets a fresh flood of water most nights. Well worth checking out.

Super fun park for children. They have a Splash Park section, plus very creative play equipment. We were also very grateful for indoor bathrooms, instead of porta-potty chemical toilets!

This is where your local free concerts-in-the-park take place, or maybe you just want to relax in the shade during a hot day. There are private public bathrooms here in case you're lost, in a hurry or are too new to know of another place. Don't litter, but do enjoy!

Small park next to the river. Good place to relax with others and have a picnic. Not a large place for activities, but has a little playground for the kids.

Keep it local, keep it fun. Pick up your trash. A skatepark this nice is an absolute blessing and its our appreciation of it that keeps it nice. Teach those who don’t know the rules how to be safe so no one gets hurt needlessly. Kids can be annoying but teaching them is the only way to mitigate this. Be a steward of the park.

I love this park. it has a "street" section on the left and on the right its quarter pipes, banks, a huge banked quarter, a giant bowl with some hefty vert and an some over vert as well in there. Park is empty mostly. Great park

Nice and close to town with good sites, but no water and loud road nearby. Dry camping just up corral creek probably just as good. Got water at library in town.

One of the best.Hot springs nearby, and not overrun like Kirkham, beautiful by the creek, enough space for most sites, good toilets, amazing hiking trails.Come and soak your afternoon away.

Quiet, pretty, close to town at the end of the bike path. Creekside. Plenty of fall color in late September. Good cell service on Verizon.

It's pretty, but shops close too early. If you want to hike during the day, don't plan to shop in the evening. Lots of restaurant options, though.
